What Our Clients Say

Finally getting around to writing a review for this awesome company! We loved working with Andy and Stephanie. They’re so nice, professional and were great with communication. They installed our after-pool landscaping and used a design my friend made. Stephanie helped me tweak the design to be more efficient and help me stay under my budget. We were also able to salvage some of my previous plants instead of buying new ones in this first phase. And we get compliments on our landscaping all the time! Can’t wait to have them back out again for more updates in the future!

Frequently Asked Questions
The best time to lay sod in Buda is during the cooler months of spring and fall. This allows the grass to establish strong roots before the hot Texas summer heat sets in. However, you can also lay sod in the summer if proper watering and care are followed.
We start by clearing your yard of debris, rocks, and weeds to make sure the soil is ready for the sod. Next, we till the soil to loosen it, helping the roots of the sod take hold more easily. After leveling and smoothing the ground, we apply a layer of compost or soil conditioner to encourage healthy growth.
To give your new sod the best chance to establish, we recommend avoiding foot traffic for at least two weeks after installation. During this time, the grass roots are setting into the soil, and walking on them can disrupt this process.
After installation, it’s best to keep the sod well-watered, especially during the first few weeks, to help the grass establish strong roots. Water the sod thoroughly in the morning or evening to prevent evaporation and allow the water to soak deeply into the soil.
We also recommend mowing your new sod once it reaches about 3-4 inches in height, but be sure not to cut more than a third of the grass height at a time to avoid stress.
